Megan Ort is a New York-based performer originally from Collegeville, Pennsylvania. She recently understudied Mrs. Lovett and served as Dance Captain on the Broadway revival production of SWEENEY TODD. Since graduating from Ithaca College with a BFA in Musical Theatre, Megan's career has taken her across the United States, Asia, the Middle East, the Caribbean, and to New York City stages. Her favorite credits include the CATS Broadway revival, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA international tour as the Christine Daaé understudy, the EVITA first national tour, and actor-musician feats playing Reza in ONCE and a violist in SOUL DOCTOR. Megan is a collaborator on the new play THE YELLOW WALLPAPER, directed and choreographed by her sister, Caitlin Ort.
